End of Season & Junior Awards, 2017

Guildford Cricket Club Junior awards, 2017 U11

Congratulations to the u11s who were crowned overall West Surrey Champions having beaten the winners of the other 2 divisions.

They completed their campaign with an emphatic 65 run victory over Chobham. Guildford scored 111-4 in their 20 overs, Lucas and Jacob both retiring on 30. They then skittled out Chobham for 46 with Adam taking 4-12 and Kieran 4-3.

 

Over the last few 3 weeks the various club and team awards have been presented at a variety of locations. Next year we will be able to celebrate our season in the new Pavilion!

Honors for Senior colts

Congratulations to three senior colts, Will Jacks, Nathan Tilley and Freddie Geffen on representative honours this season. Will captained England u19s, scoring a century against India in a youth test. Nathan represented London and the East in the u17 Super 4’s Tournament at ECB HQ at Loughborough University. He was followed there a day later by Freddie who played for the South v The North in their u15 tournament, having represented London and the East at the Bunbury Festival.
