What is the Kia Super League?
The Kia Super League was created by the England and Wales Cricket Board – it’s their answer to Australia’s Women’s Big Bash League.
Six teams, comprising a total of 90 players from England and the rest of the world, come together for a round-robin competition starting on 10th August. The top three teams qualify for finals day at Hove on 1 September.
The six teams are Lancashire Thunder, Loughborough Lightning, Southern Vipers (who will be based at Hampshire’s Ageas Bowl), Surrey Stars, Yorkshire Diamonds and Western Storm.
How much do tickets cost and how do I get them?
Tickets cost £5 for adults and £1 for juniors up to and including 16 years. There is also a Family Ticket (2 adults + 2 juniors) for £10.
Tickets are available at the Pavilion End gate for the match (note that cash only is taken at the gate – no cards).
