Player of the month this Saturday, 8th August
We will be running a Player of the Month event this Saturday after our senior league matches. The captains will be giving a summary of results since the restart and announcing their players of the month.
The bar will be open at the clubhouse and Dave Squires will also be running a BBQ; all members are welcome to watch the 1st XI game vs Normandy and attend the BBQ .

Cricket this weekend: bar & BBQ on offer!
It was fantastic to see cricket back on at Woodbridge Road last Saturday and Sunday, with two good games! It was great also to see so many youngsters enjoying some senior cricket – something we want to encourage for the rest of the season.

Recreational Cricket Activity in Small Groups
It is great news that the ECB recently released a further update regarding small groups being able to take part in limited recreational, outdoor, cricket activity.
In light of this, the GCC Cricket Committee have block booked some net availability so that fully paid up Club Members have the chance to take part in small group activities at Woodbridge Road.

Woodbridge Road Nets Update
We now have two grass nets on the square which can be booked on the booking link – guildford-cricket-club.appointlet.com.
We have also extended the opening time to 8pm so all four nets will be available from 12-8pm .

Ongoing suspension of recreational cricket
Following the ECB’s recent announcement that no professional cricket will be played in England & Wales until at least 1st July, it was also confirmed that recreational cricket remains suspended until further notice.
