Founded in 1866, Guildford Cricket Club is one of the largest amateur cricket clubs in Surrey and exists to promote, organise and encourage amateur cricket within the community.
We have over 300 playing members across the club, fielding four men’s Saturday league sides, two women’s league teams, a variety of T20 cup and social teams and a full programme of junior cricket from U8 to U21. GCC also has a proud record of producing International cricketers who have come up through our junior teams including most recently Ollie Pope, Shoaib Bashir, Will Jacks, Phil Salt and Alice Capsey.
We have strong links with Surrey County Cricket Club who hold a number of matches at our ground, Woodbridge Road, throughout the season. We are ECB Clubmark accredited, a Surrey Focus Club and registered as a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC).
New members are always welcome at Guildford and with the vast array of cricket on offer there is always a team for you, regardless of age, gender or ability. Not a player – no problem, our social members are as important as our cricketers and provide the much needed support to our teams on game days and the club throughout the year.
