Surrey County Cricket Club and Guildford Cricket Club are teaming up to bring the sounds of one of the nation’s favourite bands to Woodbridge Road, Guildford this September – with An Evening of Queen hitting the club on Friday 27 September.
Tickets go on sale for the spectacle this morning (Thursday March 14th), which will feature former cast members from the West End production of We Will Rock You performing dozens of hits from their astonishing back catalogue.
The show will take place on the outfield in front of the new Guildford Cricket Club Pavilion, that was officially opened last year after a funding partnership was formed between Guildford Borough Council, Surrey County Cricket Club and Guildford Cricket Club.
Queen are one of the biggest bands in the history of rock music, forming in London in 1970 and still playing to sell out crowds in arenas around the world. Lead singer Freddie Mercury, who sadly passed away in 1991, was one of the most iconic rock stars in history, with actor Rami Malik recently winning an Academy Award for portraying him in the smash hit film, Bohemian Rhapsody.
Tickets for An Evening of Queen are £28, and are available to buy now.
Hospitality packages are also available for £99pp +VAT, and this includes the event ticket, entry to the new Pavilion, a three-course meal, half a bottle of wine and access to an exclusive cash bar.
