Guildford CC is one of the largest, most successful cricket clubs in Surrey. We are founder members of the Surrey Championship League and our 1st XI play in the Premier Division.

On a Saturday we field five men's Xls whilst on a Sunday we field an Academy (U-21) and Development (U-18) team in the Surrey Trust League.  Our Women's 1st XI play in the Championship Division of the Women's Southern League.  We also run a vast programme of junior cricket, ages 7-17.

Fair Play

Guildford Cricket Club supports and endorses a policy of respect for opposition players, officials and team-mates.

We encourage competitive cricket played in the right spirit and encourage all our members, of whatever age, to enjoy the game and the Club’s facilities.

Guildford Beer Festival

Friday 10 June & Saturday 11 June

The Seventh Annual Guildford Beer Festival will take place on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th June 2016 at Guildford Cricket Club in Woodbridge Road.

Tickets are now on sale via our Guildford Beer Festival website and also available from the Guildford Tourist Information Office at 155 High Street in Guildford Town Centre.

Chad Murrin, Commercial Manager said: “The GBF has become something of a Guildford Summer institution. It is a very popular event – nearly 4,000 attended last Summer. We have tried to improve the event each year we have had it but we won’t be making big changes to what is a very successful format. The event will again be held in marquees and outdoors at Guildford Cricket Club, the focus will be on beers from local independent and microbreweries and craft ciders, and there will be the usual attractive live music programme.”

New GBF Chairman

James Faulkner has succeeded Chad Murrin as GBF Chairman. James joined the GBF Committee in 2012 and has led on the selection of the Beer List.

James Faulkner commented: “I’m delighted to become Chairman of the Guildford Beer Festival for 2016. Having been involved in the GBF for a number of years, it has been fantastic to see it develop into the event it is today. The rest of the committee and I are looking forward to continuing to build on this success for 2016.”

James is supported by Steve Page (Operations), Steve Currie (Finance) and Chad Murrin (Commercial) and the rest of the Committee.
