Men’s 1st XI

Guildford’s 1st XI plays in the Premier Division of The Surrey Championship League. This is the highest standard of club cricket in Surrey. The objective of the 1st XI is to challenge for the title, which the Club has won three times before.

Tom Collins (07899 010500) will lead the first team for his second season, having spearheaded Guildford’s immediate return to the Travelbag Surrey Championship Premier Division in 2018. He played for the colts from the age of 11 and gained some valuable experience of senior cricket with Avorians before moving back to Guildford in 2011. Tom has already captained the club to honours in the Surrey Trust League.

Availability & Team Selection

The Club’s availability and selection process is managed online via an application called Pitchero.

All players wishing to represent Guildford will need to signup to Pitchero and provide their availability online. Players make themselves available for the Club rather than any given team, and all site administrators (e.g. captains) have sight of everyone’s availability.
